Listings may only be added to Your Home Page if you are the listing agent of record or have documented, explicit permission from the listing agent or authorized representative. Your Home Page does not permit the unauthorized use, marketing, or display of listings you do not represent.
Why is this policy in place?
This policy exists to ensure:
- Compliance with MLS rules, broker regulations, and local real estate laws
- Proper attribution of listings to the correct listing agent and brokerage
- Protection of listing agents' intellectual property and marketing rights
- Accurate representation of who is authorized to market, show, and sell a property
- A trustworthy experience for buyers and renters using Your Home Page
What if I want to feature another agent's listing?
You may feature another agent's listing only after receiving explicit permission — obtained directly from the listing agent or their brokerage, in writing or another verifiable form.
- Contact the listing agent directly.
- Request permission to feature the listing on Your Home Page.
- Retain proof of authorization for your records.
How do I add a listing after receiving permission?
- Go to Listings in your dashboard.
- Click Add Listing.
- Enter the full and accurate property details.
- Include the listing agent's name, brokerage, and attribution in the designated fields.
- Click Save.
All listings must clearly reflect the correct listing agent and brokerage.
What happens if I add a listing without permission?
Listings added without proper authorization may be flagged, restricted, or removed. Potential consequences include:
- Immediate removal of the listing
- Temporary restrictions on listing uploads
- Account review or policy violation warnings
- Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination
Your Home Page reserves the right to remove any listing that does not meet compliance standards.
What about new construction or builder listings?
New construction and builder listings are subject to the same authorization requirements. If you are not the authorized listing agent or representative:
- Obtain permission from the builder, developer, or listing brokerage
- Include proper attribution
- The listing may require review or approval before publishing
What if I'm co-listing or part of a team?
Confirm you are authorized to market the listing, include all required agent and brokerage attribution, and follow your brokerage's internal policies and MLS rules. Authorization should be clear before adding the listing to Your Home Page.
Important disclaimer
Your Home Page is a marketing and discovery platform and does not grant permission to advertise listings you do not represent. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their listings comply with MLS rules, brokerage policies, and applicable real estate laws.
